Also the it is not easy to use with the DC adapter cord. I used with my Garmin 60 CSx and it works well but it drops down sometimes when my SUV shakes significantly.
Rest of mount can be easily removed with a plastic head screw. Put mine on the left side of the center console. Base is screwed into boat.
I have an Astro 220 which is of the 60 series mold. Can easily change angle of unit for viewing. Works as described.
Small footprint with black circle plastic base. Just make sure you put the base where you want it the first time and naturally use stainless screws if on the salt. Snaps in place and is very stable.
Perfect for a boat.
Other web sites have this priced at 29.99 which is criminal. Amazon had the best price anywhere so I am happy for that. This unit is flimsy but it works. To my knowlege, it's the only mount manufactured for the GPS 60 Series so I guess we we have to buy what's available.
